I've washed this thing twice already and it still looks brand new, no curling at the corners. The nonslip backing holds up great on my tile floor even when my lab gets excited and pushes his bowl around.
The raised edges actually caught a full bowl of water my lab knocked over, which I did not expect. It stays put on the tile too, no sliding around while he's inhaling his food. Threw it in the dishwasher and it came out looking new.
I like that it stays put on the floor even during messy meals—no slipping around. The only downside is that the raised edges aren't quite tall enough for very sloppy eaters, but it's still easy to clean in the dishwasher.
